Answer #1

Answer - a, development and the immune response

Contact-dependent signalling or the juxtacrine signaling has been observed for some growth factors, and plays an important role in the immune response. The cell contact signaling is important in the development and responses of immune system, where the immune cells use cell-surface markers to recognize self-antigenes and cells that are infected by pathogens.

The synaptic signals carries neuronal signal transmissions. Mechanical signaling are associated in reproductive tissues whereas the long-distance endocrine signaling are associated with hormones.
