ethical hacking (white hat or gray hat hacking). Choose one of these areas to explain why a company might benefit from hiring someone to hack into their systems.Your assignment should be 3-4 paragraphs in length
Answer)
Ethical hacking is the mechanism in which we have ethical hackers who attack or hack a system in order to evaluate the security and for the identification of the vulnerabilities of the computers and computer networks and other system infrastructures. The ethical hacking is thus done to find the vulnerabilities in the system or system infrastructure and thus determining that what kind of risks does the system pose to the users and the data contained in it.
Ethical hackers thus test the organization’s infrastructure and test and also bypass the networks and machines to identify the vulnerabilities, but they do not take any advantage of it, and only test for helping the organization for fixing the vulnerabilities and making the system more robust for handling such security risks.
Thus a company might benefit from hiring someone to hack into their systems, as it will expose the vulnerabilities which are there in the company systems, and identifying those vulnerabilities such that those loopholes can be closed before anyone else take advantage and actually hacks the system and performs an attack.
