Answer #1

Time out procedure is when a child is put in less favorable situation to correct his negative behaviors . Suppose a child is creating mischief in class then he will be sitting alone for some time according to teacher , this will act as a negative reinforcement for him . But he should not be deprived or going bathroom and doing lunch and can not be used as a very strict punishment else the child may totally exclude him from the procedure.

Please note that time out is only used when other procedures of correcting behavior are used before and did not workout. The reaction of the child have to be recorded in written while time out is being taking place. This can be misused if used frequently to harass a child.

Many teenagers participate in risk behaviors that threaten their current and future health. Substance use, violence, and unprotected sexual intercourse are responsible for much of the mortality and morbidity experienced in adolescence and early adulthood.1 While older adults are vulnerable to illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, adolescents are threatened by homicide, suicide, car accidents, and AIDS — ailments that are behavioral and, therefore, preventable.2 There is growing recognition that teens who engage in risk behaviors often participate...

Using Excel, develop graphical representations of zero-, first (reactant)- and second-order (reactant^2) rate expressions showing: rate (y) vs. time (x) reactant cone.
