Answer #1

During meiosis number of chromosomes are reduced to half or in other words diploid cells generate four haploid cells.

In the case of human, there is 46 chromosome in each cell. When cells undergo meiosis, it generates four cells, all of which have 23 chromosomes. All the cells are called haploid cells as they have half the number of the chromosome as compared to the parent cells.

So technically haploid cell never undergoes meiosis.

So correct answer is option 5- No answer is correct.

Had the question been diploid cell goes through meiosis it will generate- Then the answer could be 1. four haploid cells.
