Answer #1

1) the northern surface currents in the Indian ocean change direction seasonally in response to the seasonal movement of the monsoon . These currents seasonally reverses with the wind system . The direction is changed because of the reversal of sinds associated with winter and the summer monsoon . In summer time , the land is warmer than the ocean and due to this the surface winds move to the land from the ocean .

2) El Nino is a climate cycle of the Pacific Ocean with a global impact on the patterns of the weather . It occurs in the sea surface temperature in Pacific Ocean . The temperature rises more than the normal temperature for some period of time .

El Nino is formed when the interaction between the surface layers of Pacific Ocean and the atmosphere over it takes place . Due to El Nino the surface water temperature increases to some extent . The rainstorms and the clouds do also shifts towards east due to the increasing temperature of the surface layers . This El Nino can cause health problems like malnutrition , respiratory diseases and many more .
