Good Leaders use reason and emotion to make decisions that impact employees and customers and often establish the ethical atmosphere of the organization. What does it take for leaders to make sound and ethical business decisions.

✓ leaders are often challenged to make high stakes decision, and also to keep employees motivated, with a good atmosphere and less adverse effects from his decision on both internal as well as external customers.

A leader needs to consider ethical and moral values when making any decisions. To make sound and ethical business decisions, it requires more experience, high ethical values and high self confidence. An effective leader consider the practical issues, use his analytical thinking power, apply ethical values to it and come up with a decision that brings positive results.

A leader will never compromise on the quality of performance and on the satisfaction of his members. He stay concerned towards the team members, consider the stakeholders interest and provide high quality services to the customers. When he has a clear purpose, ethical standards, and capabilities, he will take sound decisions with minimal harm to anyone.
