A) No, can't be made.. because for conversion from 1:40 to 1:200 we need to do dilution of 1:5 of the stock solution , maximum amount which we have is 2ml of stock 1:40. So, to make 1:200 , dilution of 1:5 needs to be done. On doing this 2ml of stock should be mixed in 8ml water to make total of 10ml 1:200 dilution.

As, 1/40 x 1/5 = 1/200 , we need 4 ml of 1:40 stock minimum to mix in 16ml of water for 1:5 dilution of 1:40 to result in 1:200 dilution.

B) maximu 10 ml of 1:200 dilution could be made from 2ml of 1:40.
