Here I am going to describe about the difference between the business routine, process and functional units along with the difference between the transaction processing system, management information system, decision support system and executive support system.

business protein can be described as the daily basis operation that are done in the business organisation to maintain the smoothness of the daily basis work.

Business processes can be described as series of work or action that are needed to be done to provide the the proper service and satisfaction to the customers.

Functional units of the business can be described as various type multiplication of the organisation such as marketing unit, finance unit, management unit, human resource unit.

Transaction processing unit (TPS) :- transaction processing unit is the type of software computation form that is really useful for dividing the work among the employees keeping in mind the capabilities of each individual.

Management information system (MIS) :- it is that type of information which is used for the analysis and decision making in the organisation.

Decision support system (DSS) :- decision support system is a computer ise application or a software that is very useful for the determination and the judgement of the decisions in the organisation.

Executive support system (ESS) :- executive support system is type of support system that is very useful for the upper class executives.
