Three questions, same topic:

If a cell has a greater concentration of O2 outside of the cell compared to inside the cell, will an active transporter be used to move the O2 outside the cell? Explain why or why not?

If a cell has a greater concentration of H+ outside of the cell compared to inside the cell, will an active transporter be used to move the H+ outside the cell? Explain why or why not?

And finally...

Answer #1

Answer:-anwer of all of 3 is same.As in each case active transport is used to move molecules or protein from inside of cell to outside of cell.As in each ,the concentration of molecules is higher outside as compare to inside of cell.so,their concentration gradient is from outside of cell to inside of cell.To move a molecule or protein from its lower concentration to higher concentration against the concentration gradient energy is required to pump the molecules and protein against the concentration gradient.
