Liquid liquid extraction-

Liquid–liquid extraction (LLE), also referred to as solvent extraction and partitioning, could be a methodology to separate compounds or metal complexes, supported their relative solubilities in 2 completely different immiscible liquids, sometimes water (polar) associated an organic solvent (non-polar).

It's working-

Liquid-liquid (or solvent) extraction could be a countercurrent separation method for isolating the constituents of a liquid mixture. In its simplest type, this involves the extraction of a substance from a binary solution by transferral it into contact with a second immiscible solvent within which the substance is soluble.
