Understanding national culture is important because national culture provide an insight into how an individual will perform and what are his or her cultural background. This will present information on employees from different nationalities and cultural backgrounds can be handled effectively and efficiently.

For example, if an employee from South Africa works in a multinational company in the USA, then the organization can effectively take into account the work culture in South Africa and treat him the way he will not be offended. This will provide a cordial atmosphere to work on.
