We know that, Construction management is a resource driven discipline. Without resource no construction project can run or survive. From day-1 to end of the project we need the resources to execute the project or any site.

Contractor or Owner needs to track and monitor day by day in the form of M.S. Project - Gantt Chart in the Construction management:

Here, we can see every activity needs 2 resources R1 & R2 for completion in the scheduled timeline as per contract.

It has various resources for its Projects:

Mainly 4 types of resources can driven a Construction project

1. Labor – resources such as wage-earning workers,
2. Capital – resources such as Money or Fund for the project,
3. Material Resources- Such as Steel, Concrete, Bricks, Tiles, Bitumen, Construction materials, etc.
4. Plants and equipment used in the production of final goods, e.g. JCB, Excavator, RMC, Batching Plant,

Equivalent as In Construction management:

• Resource Plan or Resource Schedule - Most important part in the Construction Management as mentioned in the Gantt chart - will specify the exact quantities and when it is required - for how many days- of labor, and materials needed to complete your project, (in the form of R1 & R2)
• As stated above, they can be funding,
• High Skilled- Architects, Engineers, Planners, Managers who can drive the project,
• Skilled people - Mason,
• Semi-Skilled - Welders
• Unskilled- Helpers,
• Equipment or any facilities, or
• Anything else which is capable to execute a Construction project (other than worker) required for the completion of a project activity.

Therefore any construction management deals with the project is directly depending on each of the resources mentioned and driven by them from start to finish.
