Explain the generalization gradient, and why distributed representations are necessary in order to explain patterns of generalization.
The pattern of response that generalizes across different stimuli is represented by a generalization gradient. It is a graphical representation of the strength of response in the presence of stimuli similar to discriminative stimuli, varying along a continuum.
Gradients vary in the degree of their steepness. Sharp dropping rate of response is indicated by a steep slope as a stimulus differs greatly from the discriminative stimuli. Gradual drop in the response is indicated by a flat slope as stimulus varies greatly from the discriminative stimuli.
To explain pattern of generalisation gradient , distributed representation is helpful. Distributed representation is used to show many yo many relationship and thus help in comparing responses to different and similar stimulus that ultimately determine gradient.

Watch some television and take notes on representations of the poor. Look for patterns in race, gender, family structures, etc. Additionally, pay attention to the way TV frames the causes of poverty. Clearly explain whether these causes are individualistic or social. In other words, clearly explain whether poor people in the media are portrayed as being deserving of their poverty or as victims of social forces beyond their control. Provide two clear examples to illustrate your position.
Using any of the representations you have drawn, explain why a pair of enantiomers have the same properties, but a pair of diastereomers have different properties 4.
why the proton gradient is both a chemical gradient and an electrical radiant and state which radiant is the major contributor to the proton motive force driving the ATP synthesis RX? please explain it in a short sentance
Can you clearly explain the order of elution and exactly WHY they elute in that specific order. 8. Using a cation exchange resin, a mixture of 3 amino acids-- Arg, Asp, and Ser - is separated using an elution gradient of increasing NaCI solution. What would be the correct elution sequence?
Identify the Fallacies for each argument, explain why. Choices are: hasty generalization, begging the question, black and white (false dilemma), strawperson, false analogy, ad hominem, appeal to authority, argument from ignorance, non sequitur, red herring, post hoc, ergo propter hoc, and slippery slope. a).
