Management is a dynamic process and an integral part of living and essential for achieving desire objectives in the workplace or personal life. The functions of management is an organized process of doing the thing and is a set of principles including planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. These functions of the administration are essential for an organized life as well as critical factors for running all types of the organization. Managing life includes getting things done for achieving objectives of growth and maintaining an organization refers to making tasks done through and with other people or workforce for achieving its goals and objectives. A person could use these four functions of the management in the workplace or personal life in different ways, such as:
Planning- it is the very first and basic function of the administration. It deals with examining the actions required for the future and in deciding in advance activities for achieving the organizational goals. A person can decide in advance what to do when to do and how to do it. It helps ion achieving objectives effectively and efficiently.
Organizing - it is a process used for following and implementing plans by bringing together the physical, financial as well as other available resources and using them for achieving the organizational goals. If a person is about to increase the sales, he would follow the plan and determine how to divide all the resources to put plans in place.
Leading- it is the process of actuating the methods for working efficiently for achieving the decided organizational objectives. With this function, the employee develops human interaction, being motivated and communicates and inspires personnel.
Controlling- it is the last and the final function of the management. It ensures the other three functions are appropriately followed, and the flow of work is moving towards the organization. It will help the person to examine the objectives measurably.
