Cytoskeleton in a cells are composed of microtubules , intermediate filament,and actin filaments . Cytoskeleton not only helps in movement of organelle and cells but it helps to form a framework for the cell . They make the cell rigid . Locomotory organs like cilia ,flagella are composed of cytoskeleton .

one classic example of movement of organelle by cytoskeleton is chromosome movement during cell division . Major proteins which are present in these cytoskeleton foe movement are kinesin,dynein, myosin .

Action of microtubules during chromosome migration is classic example . During cell division microtubules are arised and get attached to the centrosome . Microtubules get attached to centrosome and pulls the sister chromatid to the poles .microtub micr are formed by tubulin proteins . These proteins will get attached to GTP and protein will undergo shrinking and growing phase . This causes movement of chromosome towards poles .
