Unique Value Proposition (also known as Unique Selling Proposition USP) is a way of communicating to the customers the benefits of using the product, how it will satisfy the needs of the consumer and the ways in which it better than the competitor's product. It needs to be clear and must align with the wants of the target consumers.

An important decision for a recycling company to make is to decide the USP of its product. It must be carefully designed keeping in mind the advantages and its end result: to help reduce the harmful effects of deforestation, global warming and excessive use of plastic.

A USP for a recycling company must include the following:

  • The recycling process must be free from the use of any chemicals as using harsh chemicals will only add to the environmental woes.
  • Recycling must be done with less energy consumption
  • The recycled product thus obtained must not harm the environment and climate in any way.
  • The service must be cost effective and budget saving.
