Manage your Emotions

Please share one of your triggers and how you may decrease your reactions to that trigger.

answer-

Every person have emotional triggers which can cause showing of negative emotion in a person. The emotional response can be fear, sadness, panic, flashbacks, and pain, as well as any physical symptoms associated with these emotions (shaking, loss of appetite, fainting, fatigue, and so on) .

In my case, I get angry when someone tease me, try to insult me or take my things without asking me then i feel angry and my head gets heavy with thoughts like how the person can tease me or how the person can take my things without my permission.This also cause me starving as many other people may feel loss of appetite but i feel starving.

In this case, the things i do to decrease my reaction to that trigger that i do Yoga in the early morning so that i can control on my emotions and breath. This helps me to focus my mind and gives me peace.

second thing i do is try to listen soft music alone for 10-20 minutes which also help me to reduce down my anger and divert my mind from thing of person got me angry.

Third, i always put someting to eat like snack in my bag or pocket so that whenever i feel starving due to anger then i can eat and remove my anger stress.
