Answer #1

1) Cerebrum.

Cerebrum is the largest and most prominent part of the brain. It contains areas for skin senses, vision, hearing, olfaction. This brain part has motor areas for voluntary control of movement, association areas for interpreting sensations, language, thinking, decision making, self-awareness, creativity, and storage of memories.

2) long-term.

The brain stores large amounts of information for hours, days, or years. This type of memory is known as long-term memory.

3) Cerebral cortex.

Cerebral cortex is the outer layer of each hemisphere of the brain. The surface of the cerebral cortex folds to form gyri and sulci which increase the surface area.

4) White matter.

White matter is composed of aggregations of myelinated processes and long extensions of the nerve, the nerve fibres, which conduct impulses over long distances.
