Answer #1

Answer. Some researches found that strength training have great effects at cellular levels mainly on the mitochondria i.e it is effective in building muscle mass . When body undergoes strength training the protein which is required for metabolic reactions in mitochondria gets increased at a rapid phase due to this mitochondria's density gets raised up which directly means that more production of energy by using oxygen. ( as mitochondria is power house of cell ) . This also improves aerobic endurance performance because aerobic endurance requires more energy to perform well.

some theories also suggest that all types of exercises comes under strength Resistance training is required to raise mitochondrial protein.
