MOOT/STATEMENT: “Society’s acceptance of contemporary norms is responsible for the increase in youth crimes across the region.”

“Society’s acceptance of contemporary norms is responsible for the increase in youth crimes across the region.”

With the increase in digital media, there has been an immense increase in crimes and especially cyber crime. Society today has accepted the norm that it is very simple or cool to introduce mobile phones, tablets and internet connection. Parents today feel very comfortable in providing their children these electronic gadgets at their very early age. While providing them with these gadgets the parents forget about the ill effects it can bring to their children. Cyber crimes are one of the main drawbacks of it.
