The industrial revolution is at the center of management theory. Due to industrial revolution, many extraordinary changes were brought to the workforce and it completely changed the way companies function. Better and faster technologies were brought by the industrial revolution which allowed the companies to perform more efficiently than ever before and helped them to gain an edge over their outputs. Many management theories arose in the wake of industrial revolution which are still essential and relevant even today.

Many theories like attribution theory, evidence-based management, utilization management can be deployed in the health care setting.

Attribution theory helps in assessing the success and failures of the health-care programs and the system.

Evidence-based management approach requires doctors, nurses and other health care professionals to make decisions based on the best available evidence.

Utilization management is a kind of proactive approach towards the management of health care through preset guidelines.
