Using your own experiences, other than a spider or other insect/arachnid, describe the process of transmission of stimuli in response to your experience that illustrates the three sensory processes: sensory input, integration, and sensory output.

There are 5 sensory organs involved which carry up the stimuli.

They are as follows.

Skin - it is the largest organ of the body which has sense of touch, pressure, pain.

Ears - it is used for taking of the vibrations, and connecting it to the auditory nerve for hearing and analysing.

Nose - it is an organ which helps in smell in which the olfactory nerve is involved.

Eyes- specialised organ which helps in in vision and I movement which is helped with the optic nerve.

Tongue - it is an organ for taste because it has taste buds present for detection of sweet, sour, salty pr bitter. The gustatory nerve helps in conducting the impulse.

*** Tongue is also used for speech, but it is not a stimulus but a response.

The nervous system receives the stimuli from all these sensory organs which has to be carried to the brain for interpretation.

Interpretation meaning analysing and converting the sensory impulse into motor impulse for movement.

The function of the motor impulse aur sensory output is responding to the stimuli given.

For example- if someone has touched you from behind, the skin have sensory receptors which will carry the sensory neurons to the brain where the brain will integrate and analyse and you feel someone has touched you send signals to your muscle body and then you turn back with the help of the motor neurons.

Another example- if you hear someone is calling you, the ear send vibrations into the cochlea in which the auditory nerve is situated. This nerve goes into the brain and interprets the sound observed and send back the response and you respond to it.

The brain is an organ which is responsible for carrying the sensory as well as the motor neurons.

All the sensory impulses have dendrites present at their tips which take up the signal and electrical impulse through it.

There is a gap present between two neurons, which is known as a synapse where the electrical impulse is converted to chemical impulse.

a neurotransmitter acetylcholine is responsible for the chemical reaction taking place.

This is how the sensory and motor impulses run throughout the body.

There are millions of neurons connected to each other.
