Answer #1

Answer: While playing tennis tennis, Maria had a sudden pain along the back of her left thigh.

This is due to the strain in the hamstring muscles.

The hamstring muscles are semitendinosus, semimembranosus and biceps femoris.

These muscles are located in the posterior back of the thigh.
strain is related to the muscles and sprain is related to the ligament. Maria got a pain due to the strain in the hamstring muscles.

so, the involved muscles group are hamstring muscles.

Treatment:

There are some stretching like static stretching, PNF (hold relax ) and some technique are used to relieve the pain and increases the flexibility of the hormones.
