The Scatter Diagram I have never used it, what kind of information does it give and why use it?
The scatter diagrams are prepared by plotting one variable on each axis just like other charts. However, the scatter graph shows the relationship between the two variables which is called as correlation. In case the variables are related to each other, it will form a curve or a line. In case the variables are not related, values will be random plotted throughout the graph.

However, in below graph, there is no relation
