I have to write an answer about what kind of company benefits from LIFO and give an example from the information technology industry. But its hard for me to search any information technology industry are using LIFO. Could any one help me answer this question? thanks

Ans: LIFO stands for last in first out this method of Inventory valuation. It is banned in many countries but as US Follows US GAAP which allows LIFO method for inventory Valuation. LIFO method of inventory valuation benefits to those companies which faces increase in the cost of the goods such as drug industries and Supermarket stores. IT companies that uses LIFO for inventory valuation is GE company that uses LIFO for Inventory valuation for stock in US.
