My name is ABC, and I am writing to you in order to express my interest in the post for the designer. I understand that one would need to be skillful with computer applications like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and other such applications. It had been almost a few years that I have been not only using these applications but, also have managed to learn its techniques proficiently.

Over the past few years, I have earned a suitable degree in the arts (mention your degree). During the time of this course, I was taught about logo designing as well. I understand the rules of the golden ratio, the placement of the focus subject to the eye-level of the viewer, colour psychology, the use of hues to accentuate the subject and other such techniques. My study has not only trained me to produce aesthetically pleasing pieces but, also ones that might easily attract the viewers.

I do spend a considerable amount of time practicing design and digital so that I may qualify in a company as exciting as yours. Your products (and or services) are one that I find have a good “brand-personality” that I will be able to depict through the use of colours, textures and other artistic techniques.

I would be very much obliged to have the opportunity to work with your team and this company. It would be exciting to express my ideas for the logo design.
