Affirmative action falls within the realm of what type of justice? Explain.
Affirmative action falls within the realm of compensatory or distributive type of justice. If justice is done directly for the affirmative action then it becomes important to adjust so as to reward an individual to get the full advantage. For example, person A throws cake on Person B, now here the affirmative action is “thwarting cake”. For instance person A is much richer than person B. In this case choice is to give preference. It becomes a matter of distributive justice in terms of who is getting more benefit from the unwanted activity or losses or may be cake fallen accidently. If one moves from tort liability considering that someone’s fault in this case someone moves from the realm of compensatory justice to distributive.
