Should we be satisfied with how privacy issues are handled by large internet organizations, such as Facebook, Google, Amazon (and Target and Walmart)?

I think we should not be satisfued with the way privacy issues are handled by large internet organizations, such as Facebook, Google, Amazon (and Target and Walmart). The reason being is that there have been instances where the data of these companies have leaked which has caused danger to the whole data of their customers, most recently with Facebook. Also, with the level of customer data they possess, a threat of data leak would always be there. Hence, I would rather recommend to share data which are of utmost necessity, while being vigilant and aware.
