When creating a Urea Nitrogen Assay Standarc Curve, why can time zero be eliminated from the graph?
If time zero is not even included in the graph, what is the purpose of recording this value?

During the standard curve the basic idea is to make series of standard solution that we know their concentration of.

So that further we can analyse the concentration of the sample Or unknown using that information or using that standard curve.

So during this standard curve we always take a blank solution which has zero concentration of analyte but has other solvents and reagent. And we consider it as zero reading.

So some times this blank solution give unexpected reading due to the presence of other elements like solvents or reagent in the solution so can be neglected.

In fact while drawing a curve not only blank but any other value deviates more than expected due to some errors we can eliminate that reading and still draw a graph.
