A nucleic acid consists of all of these three components but not one, rather it appears in repeating units polymerized to form nucleic acids such as DNA & RNA.

Other statements are true. Protein made up of amino acids.

Lipids such as phospholipids make up cell membrane. Polysaccharides are made up of monomers of sugars.
