Explanation: Thymocytes interacts with MHC class I molecules mature that into CD8+ cells. It mainly protect infection from virus or they kill viral pathogens so that it is also called as hallmarks of antiviral immunity. It has viral specific T - cells to identify and kill them.

Complement fixation

  • complement binds with both antigen and antibody. When they absorbed during antigen and antibody combination
  • Use of antigen - antibody complex to fix the complement is used to the test to identify the specific antibodies.
  • Positive complement system shows no lysis of sheep erythrocyte due to the complement is fixed on the test system.
  • Negative test results due to hemolysis (combine with free blood cells) complement does not bind to the test system.
