Answer:-

According to the given figure,

Motor Full sensor switch Empty sensor switch ← SOLB Start/stop control station

Tags are created for different areas and controller for different purposes. Two pushbuttons have been considered to start and stop the process. Full level sensor switch is used to indicate the maximum level of the tank and it gets closed when the tank level is full. Empty level sensor switch is used to indicate the tank is empty and it gets closed as soon as the tank starts filling. Solenoid A and B are used to fill and empty the tank respectively. In rung 1, when the start button is pressed and full level sensor switch is not closed then solenoid A is energized to start filling the tank. In order to keep solenoid A ON even though the start push button is released , a parallel path with a normally open switch having address similar to the solenoid A is connected. As soon as the tank is completely filled, fill level sensor is activated, de-energizing the solenoid A. As the solenoid A switch makes a true to false transition, the timing bit of the timer T4 gets energized and it remains ON till the accumulated time equals the preset time. The timing bit of the timer T4 energized the Agitate motor and it runs for 3 minutes. The Agitate motor remains ON for 3 minutes as the preset value of the timer is changed to 180 for a time base of 1 second. The Agitate motor stops mixing the liquid as the timing bit of the timer T4 gets de-energized after 3 minutes. In rung 4, as the timing bit of the timer is made zero and the empty level sensor switch remains closed, the selenoid B . Finally the start button is pressed again to repeat the process. Hence the mixing process is controlled using ladder program.

This mixing system is controlled by the mixer motor (PLC output Y3) to mix two different liquids from two valves YO and YI). The mixing liquid is discharged from the valve controlled by Y2. X1 and X2 represent the low and high level sensor switch inputs, respectively. You need to complete the following tasks: (1) Normally...

A baking oven conveyor system (to bring raw dough through an oven to bake bread) needs the ladder logic to be built for proper function. Here is the sequence of events: a. A Conveyor Motor relay output will start (and will be latched/set on) when a normally open pushbutton (Start Conveyor) or a normally open sensor (Package Sensor) energizes. A normally closed E-Stop (Emergency Stop) push button that is not energized is in series with the aforementioned circuit components. b....
