Answer #1

Based on the first land second evel needs, that is physiological needs and safety and security, it is necessary to identify the children deprived of the basic necessities from their homes and guardians and make sure that they are surviving in a healthy environment. Along with this, it is necessary to identify the next level needs , that is love and belongingness. In order to motivate towards this, help them develop good interpersonal relationships with their peers and encourage interaction in the classroom. In motivating for self esteem, tell the children to voice their opinions regarding discussion topics and casual incidents so as to gain confidence and assertiveness. Help them realize their strengths and weaknesses and ways to overcome them. In the higher level need of self actualization, they can be motivated by helping them gain insight into their roles in life and self awareness by introspecting their actions.
