Overweight and obesity are associated with a range of chronic disease states including the development of type II diabetes.The childhood obesity is of a greater concern that it will leads to type ii diabetes in later life and have a significant implications for the morbidity and the mortality.According to the statistics of 2004 in the United Kingdom,the prevalence of child hood obesity in children aged 5-17 years to be 29% and estimates to be doubling the prevalence over the course of the preceeding decade.

In the United States,32% of children were observed to be 85th percentile of the 2000 body mass index for age growth charts.

Increased adiposity generally leads to systemic hyperinsulinaemia. Insulin resistance is linked to a range of co-morbidities including obesity,dyslipidaemia and type 2 diabetes.

Obese children have higher fasting insulin and coming to the incidence of development of type II diabetes mellitus remains unknown.

*The main aim of assessing the relationship between the childhood obesity associated with adult onset type II diabetes can leads to a risk factor for the cardiovascular health during the adult life

*There should be need a detailed investigation on childhood obesity leads to metabolic disease and insulin resistance outcomes.

Any way studies were conducted regarding the topic to investigate the relationship between the childhood obesity and a range of metabolic risk factors

*But in most of the studies conducted there is insufficient evidence to support the idea that childhood obesity independently increases insulin resistance in adult hood

*There is lack of evidence that support the children most susceptible to metabolic risk associated with adult obesity.

*We need to educate the importance of knowing the facts behind the childhood obesity leads to adult onset of diabetes of type II

*There should be needed more studies regarding this topic to get an evidence that is supportive.

*We need to improve the present educational system develop the present educational system and to develop the skills of the students in health education profession
