How is the complement cascade initiated and effector functions of C3b and membrane attack complex, and anaphylatoxin c3a and c5a. Please write in complete sentences and explain in detail. Thank you!
The complement pathways are activated by antigen antibody complexes also known as specific immune response with the antibody isotype IgG and IgM. The classical complement pathway is one if the three system that activates the conplement system that is the immune system. Once it is activated the protein series are also activated. Here the series of proteins are recruited to generate C3 convertase (C4bC2a), which cleaves the C3 protein. The C3b component of the cleaved C3 binds to C3 convertase (C4bC2a) to generate C5 convertase(C4bC2aC3b), which cleaves the C5 protein. The cleaved products attract phagocytes to the site of infection and tags target cells for elimination by phagocytosis. In addition, the C5 convertase initiates the terminal phase of the complement system, leading to the assembly of the membrane attack complex (MAC). The membrane attack complex creates a pore on the target cell's membrane, inducing cell lysis and death.
The classical complement pathway can also be activated by apoptotic cells, necrotic cells, and acute phase proteins.

Explain how the electron transport chain functions to generate ATP in terms of... electron carriers, oxygen as the electron acceptor, the four inner membrane proteins, the hydrogen concentration gradient, water (H20), and ATP synthase NOTE: I asked this question earlier and unfortunately the answer was too complicated for me to understand, so here I am asking it again. I know this is a huge complicated question if you answer it thoroughly, but if you could please try to keep it...

Network security 1. explain succinctly how a Denial of Service attack may occur on an implementation of the TCP protocol's 3 way handshake? 2. Suggest solutions on your own on how such a Denial of Service attack on TCP 3-way handshake can potentially be prevented or mitigated? Note that you are being asked to think through this answer on your own. You are however allowed to research on the Internet for potential solutions. Please make sure you understand the solution...

Public health class CHD is the leading cause of death in the world with a complex causal model. if Public health is to slow the epidemic a multi level multi pronged approach is needed. Select one framework from your textbook and present 3 interventions; 1 primary, 1 secondary and 1 tertiary level intervention. explain why and how each intervention belongs to the selected level. Also determine the level of Freiden's pyramid that would best characterize each intervention. Explain which of...

Please answer the below three for my research topic: How do Engineers value leadership? Write statement of purpose, description, and methodology. For methodology am thinking about interviewing professors/students and will analyze existing journal articles relating to our topic using library research. Thanks. Statement of purpose: Explain what you hope your research will find or show. State your question or series of 2. questions before you begin your research. After you have conducted significant research you should be able to answer your...
Public health class The affordable care act was designed to reduce healthcare cost and increase access to care for the most vulnerable populations. In class we mostly focused on the ACA goal of increasing access. Do you agree that the affordable care act has increased access to those who most need it? Who is most in need? Why did it succeed/fail? what evidence is there that it has achieved/failed to achieve its goal? how has it achieved/failed to achieve said...
