Answer #1

The U.S moves toward evidence-based medicine to expertise in the clinical area, to improve the research studies and to give more preference to the patient's values. The evidence-based practice will improve the quality, patient satisfaction, positive health outcomes and reduce the health care cost. Evidence-based medicine increases the benefits of the patient in a certain condition. it enables the health professional clinical experience and encourages them to take clinical decisions appropriately. Health care providers concern about patient's value and plan for treatment accordingly.

Evidence-based medicine makes the clinicians and nurses for the best standard practices as per evidenced-based protocols. It measures the quality of services and makes necessary changes and improvement. It provides more access to data for better services and outcomes. It fills the gaps in patient-centered care and improves the decision-making process. It establishes transparency in healthcare delivery and supports the health care policy. Overall, the evidence-based medicine improves access to quality care and patient outcomes.

Research studies will improve the evidence-based practice by improving more benefit rather than harm. For example, some of the cancerous drugs are more beneficial in treating of cancer patients. Research studies prove the treatment benefit. Clinical research provides specific guidelines for the evidence-based practice. It improves the knowledge and skills of clinicians to provide optimum care and cost-effective services.
