Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people generally experience poorer health than other population groups in Australia and are more likely to experience disability and reduced quality of life.

A social issue has defined as a problem that influences a considerable number of individuals within a society. Somewhere in the hundreds of thousands to the billions, sometimes even down to a few people. But it is often the consequence of factors extending beyond an individual's social issue is the source of a conflicting opinion on the grounds of what is perceived as morally just personal life or societal order.

Eg: Poor health and food insecurity
Competing priorities for limited family income, restricted access to traditional foods, lack of knowledge of nutritional value, lack of culturally appropriate information on healthy food.

Political Issue:

Eg: Racism and discrimination

These groups of largely faced racism and discrimination with less pay in the work area with long working hours.

Economic Issues:

Economic policy refers to the actions that governments take in the economic field.

Eg: Poverty and unemployment:

In the present case study, Joe works in a community centre where Susannah attends English language classes. She has three children who attend a playgroup at the centre. Jon has noticed that Susannah has bruises on her face and arms and that two of the children have bruises on the backs of their legs, thus realized the Susannah and children has undergone domestic violence.

1. Joe can get information regarding his legal responsibilities concerning child protection from:

*Hotline number

*Legal assistant/lawyer

*Health inspector in charge of the particular place

He has to describe her regarding the need for giving a complaint to the police station, child welfare commission and consumer complaint commission to get the proper justice for Susannah and children from the family and to manage with the present situation.

2. As a health worker, Joe has the responsibility to protect Susannah and children from particular domestic violence. First, he has to collect the proper information regarding the situation and the reason for the violence and from whom and her concerns accurately. Some times he can use this first-hand information if required as evidence.

3. As a worker in a particular organization, first, he has to report a particular concern to the respective supervisor or the manager.

As a health worker first of all for the bruises he has to inform the doctor and give appropriate care under the medico-legal case.

As a health worker if anyone found someone is a victim of domestic violence immediately inform the concerned department of police through proper channel.

4. Depending on his work role and the structure of your organisation, Joe has to first information regarding the domestic violence to the respective supervisor. After getting consent from the supervisor, make her and children get a consultation from the casualty doctor under the medico-legal case and the concerned doctor or the supervisor has to take the role to inform to the police department.
