For the purposes of this document, we define ethics consultation in health care as a service provided by an individual ethics consultant, ethics consultation team, or ethics committee to help patients, providers, and other parties resolve ethical concerns in a health care setting.  

The general objective of morals counsel is to enhance medicinal services quality by encouraging the

goals of moral concerns. By giving a gathering to discourse and techniques for watchful

examination, powerful morals meeting:

  1. advances rehearses reliable with high moral norms
  2. enables encourage accord and set out to struggle in an air of regard
  3. praises members' position and qualities in the basic leadership process
  4. instructs members to deal with current and future moral concerns

Ethics consultation may be performed by an individual ethics consultant, an ethics committee, or an ethics consultation team. A consultation service should use all three models, determining on a consultation-by-consultation basis which model is most suitable in the particular circumstances.

Ethics is the branch of philosophy that deals with morality. Ethics is a standard of behaviors that guides us in how to act. Ethics is also a set of standards that gives us insight to what we should do, by giving us a view of what is right and what is wrong.  These norms that we put forward are ordinarily thought of as far as rights, commitments, what is the general advantage to society, what is reasonable, or potentially explicit qualities that we hold close or in high respect. Next, morals is a consistent exertion of considering and refining our very own ethical convictions and lead. Moreover, it is continually hoping to guarantee that we, and people or organizations with whom we interface, measure up to those equivalent high moral benchmarks. It's truly encompassing the behaviors that surround ethics, what guides us to those certain behaviors and decisions that we might make.

After this session members will have the capacity to:

  • Clarify what morals is and what morals isn't
  • Disclose different ways to deal with moral basic leadership
  • Name key ethical values
  • Identify a framework for working through ethical dilemmas
