1. The four goals of ethics consultation services are

1. To discuss the relevant facets of each situation with all participants directly involved, to promote good communication and understanding of the issues, alternatives, decisions and likely outcomes.

2. To assist participants in identifying ethical values and goals associated with each situation.

3. To enable clear understanding of each person's basic moral framework and its impact on decisions and outcomes.

4. To help resolve problems, conflicts and dilemmas related to ethical values and goals associated with each situation including each person's own basic moral framework.

Ethical consultations can made in the following ways_

1. It meets with the requester to begin assessing the situation and determining possible further steps.

2. Patient records may be viewed bye EC.

3. They may involving discussions with individual or group with others involved in patient care.

4. Formal care conference may be arranged.

5. Specific entries and recommendations may be added in patient record.

Request by Patient or family or legal representative / Healthcare provider.

1. Attending Physician informed of request in timely fashion and kept informed of substantiative developments.

2. Explanation of hospital policy if needed.

3. Substantive discussion with attending physician and other Healthcare providers can be pursued if necessary.

4. Facilitation of communication of others involved in patient care can be arranged.

5. Attending Physician may be contacted to solicit information and offer assistance.

Best example for this is Euthanasia. The patient family members or the institution may contact the ethical consultancy to carry out the procedure without any legal issues for both of them. One such case I came across where Euthanasia of a brain-dead person was done. Ventilator support was removed and organ donation of eyes and kidneys was implemented.

2. Telemedicine

I'm ready to receive Physician care via telemedicine because

* International quality treatment can be received send anywhere in the world.

* Meeting other people with same condition of us will help us to come out from a lonely feel.

* Some of the primary doctors Consultations can be received through telemedicine.

* The physicians are exposed to a vast range of signs and symptoms of a disease and gain additional knowledge.

Though there are some disadvantages such as cost, technical requirements,availability, and exception of certain diseases, mostly telemedicine will be accepted by the public because it is a fastly growing field. It is one of the major advancement in medicine to save time and money of patients.
