Answer #1

ANSWER: PATIENT/CLIENT

Client is a person who has the right to refuse treatment. It is called LIVING WILL. The medical personnel will explain the list of medical treatments, the client has the right to choose or reject the type of treatment which is adaptive for his health.Medical personnel should not force the client to follow the treatment.

For ex: If a cancer patient will be prescribed to take chemotherapy to prevent the metastasis of cancer but the client will refuse to take chemotherapy. The physician should not force the client to take chemotherapy. Physician should explain the advantages and disadvantages of treatment the client will decide either he/she should select or not.
