Answer #1

In order to solve the problem we need to know the major threat that is causing adverse effects to the population and the environment. Which is possible only by visiting the area and analysing the situation Young children would greatly contribute in cleaning the area and making it pollution free.

Major concerns would be :

Saving the Blue Crab

The Bay’s signature crustacean is an important commercial source and recreational fisheries. Pollution, habitat loss and agricultural waste entering the water bodies threaten its abundance.

Reducing Air pollution .

Pollutants largely emitted by vehicles power plants and other sources not only pollute the air we breathe but it also causes temperature to rise.

Reducing content of chemical contaminants

About three quarters of tidals waters air polluted with pesticides, Pharmaceuticals ,metals and other toxic chemicals. That can harm both human and animal life.

Conowingo Dam

The reservoir behind the dam holds a lot of sediment which causes pollution if attention is drawn towards the sediment that is held then pollution can be reduced up to a greater extent.
