Pain is a neurological experience which usually makes one distressing,discomfort and often leading to emotional trauma due to specific stimuli.

Earlier pain was managed with simple measures with rest,relaxation, massages and pressure.

Later it was managed with ointments.When a relief doesn't occurs with this individuals tend to take chemical relief.

Acute pain is a temporary discomfort which subsides after the underlying problems are treated.for example pain due to fall can be treated and it resides.

If a pain lasts for more than 12 weeks it is called as chronic pain which may cause emotional stress and it can be managed with proper treatment..It occurs after a nerve insult or injury.

Some of the main issues pertaining to Pain management are as following

• Addiction : Long term use of certain medication without physician order are dangerous and can cause serious damage to health and manging it is expensive
• Damage to internal organs: when a chemical agent is taken for Pain relief it first enters the stomach ,metabolized in liver and excreted via renal system.Hence repeated usage will affect these organs and will desensitize the brain for particular drug
• Chemical effects: the medicine which are taken are usually chemicals affecting the General health of an individual. If taking medication which are OCT with other medical condition may interrupt it's action and causing further problems.
