many government and private schools in the USA.
Various factors on which the quality of a school is
measured are discussed below:

. Academic Excellence’ SAT score, ACT score,
graduation rate, the percentage of students
proticient in reading, writing and mathematics are
some otthe factors to measure the academic
excellence of the school The different awards won
by a school also helps parents to measure the
quality otthe education provided by the school

. Courses offered' Advanced courses, honours
courses, science and technology programmes.
computer programs, projects, symposium etc.
offered to the students results in better leaning and
development otthe students.

. Extra-curricularactiv :The overall
development otthe students also includes his/her
participation in ditterent society, clubs, sports etc.
The school which provides such facilities and
motivates students to fiake par! in various
competitions to win awaids and accolades ranks
better.

. Location: The location ot the school is an important
parameter for the parents Proximity otthe school
trom homes saves travelling time for the kids and
