Phenomenology
Phenomenology can be explained as the experience in very philosophical terms and helps in studying different ways of experience or level of experience along with consciousness. It basically involves the study of different states of consciousness. It helps in creating a better awareness from structures of experience and how the things appear in our experience or how things add certain meaning to our lives. It helps in studying and researching about conscious experience from first person view. There are various type of experiences that are studied under this like thought process, memory, imagination, awareness of the body, volatility of mind, desires etc. It helps in better reflection of one’s own awareness and helps better understand images, concept and meaning of things.

Grounded Theory
The grounded theory is a systematic process which uses a methodical approach along with data analysis for building theories. It helps in collecting information and hence helps with the process of research and analysis. It is all about thinking about a particular thing followed by the conceptualizing of the data and hence making a research based on it. There is involvement of qualitative research which helps in development of theories through analysis of data. The theory is all about qualitative research and has its own set of pros and cons.
