In today's ever changing and demanding healthcare environment, identifying and developing nurse leaders is one of the greatest challenges faced by the nursing profession. Some of the important definitions :

Patients:

Person who is seeking treatment when they are sick/ill.

Health:

Absence of illness and feeling of goodness

Environment:

The surroundings where the individual lives in.

Nursing:

The people who cares for the sick

Relationships:

Good environment helps to stay people healthy and prevention of getting illness.

Good environment helps the nurses to provide care for patients

Healthy relationships between patient and nurse resulting in quality care

Every individual have their own intrinsic belief that forms one’s own philosophies. If a nurse provides care according to the ethics and cultural beliefs of the patient then it helps in maintaining the highest level of quality care and early healing.
