Answer #1

Positive pregnancy test is the presence of HCG hormone produced during pregnancy. It can be detected by the blood test at 11 days of contraception and by the urine test at 14 days of contraception. HCG produced by the placental cell and it nourishes the fertilized egg. After delivery, the HCG level drops down and completely runs out by the third week of postpartum. Breastfeeding may delay the ovulation and missing of a period but it not always the effective birth control method. So the women have the chances to get pregnant if she underwent on unprotected sex. Otherwise, the pregnancy test will be negative after delivering the baby. HCG level of above 25mIU/mL is considered as positive and HCG level of 5mIU/mL is considered as negative.
