Pathophysiology - this occurs due to ischemia of heart which causes remodeling of heart muscles so heart not able to effectively pump the blood and peripheral tissue ischemia occur.
Medication :- IV fluid administration
Inotropic drugs - dopamine,dobutamine, norepinephrine
Sign and symptoms - Dyspnoea, tachycardia, loss of consciousness, weak pulse, mental alternative, tachycardia,arrhythmi, heart block
Lab diagnosis - systolic BP <90mm of hg for >30 min
Cardiac index - <2.2l/min
SEPTIC SHOCK-
Pathophysiology - whenever there is a strong infection present this cause bacterimia in body these bacteria secret lots of lipopolysaccarides which cause systemic inflammatory response syndrome that further leads to multiple organ failure and septic shock
Medication - IV crystilloid fluid
Norepinephrine
Corticosteroids
Sign and symptoms - shivering, pain, cold, pale skin, confused, reduced urination, mental confusion
Lab diagnosis :- procalcitonin increased
CRP increased
Serum Creatinine and BUN level increased
