Bronchodilators
The drug card for albuterol:
Albuterol is a beta-2 adrenoceptor agonist, which is used to relieve the symptoms of bronchial asthma. The dose prescribed for adults is 2.5 mg, which is usually given as an inhalational dosage form. For children, half the adult dose should be given. The adverse effects associated with the drug administration include nausea, vomiting, hyperglycemia, tremors, and nervousness. The dose must be repeated for medical use.
