In your own words, describe the kinds of cultural changes hospitals will need to make in order to adapt to the changing healthcare environment and discuss how these changes can be achieved most efficiently. (150 words minimum).

In the era of population health management and accountable care a culture of engagement and accountability is essential. Strong organizational cultures enable and nurture the new behaviours, actions, and investment required to navigate the many changes affecting the health care industry especially the transition to value based care. Cultural improvement doesn't happen within in a fortnight. Therefore effort should be taken to look into the history, heritage and the attidues of an organization past. It must be carefully monitored and continually assessed, developed and nurtured at all levels of the organization

To improve quality of an organization must have the will to improve, the capacity to translate that willinto positive change, the infrastructure necessary to support improvement and an environment hospitable to quality. The last factor environment -relates to the organizations culture.
