In your own words, discuss what you believe to be the future trends of unions and unionization efforts in healthcare organizations and what management should do to be prepared to confront these issues. Include which areas you believe to be most vulnerable to union activity. (150 words minimum)

Union organizing activity in the healthcare industry is on the rise. Realizing that their very survival is at stake, unions have looked to expand the nature, jurisdictional scope and geographic breadth of their organizing activities.  Conventional industrial worker's organizations, (for example, the Teamsters, United Food and Commercial Workers, the United Steelworkers, and the International Association of Machinists) trying to stem the tide of enrollment misfortunes, and additionally more modern administration part associations, (for example, the Service Employees International Union, National Nurses United, and the California Nurses Association), are concentrating their arranging endeavors on doctor's facilities and medicinal services frameworks over the United States.
